Terra Nova 2007 is this coming labor day weekend, Sat-Mon, September 1st-3rd. We will be returning to Pali Mountain for a wonderful time of connecting with new friends, exploring our artistics talents, both known and unknown, and of course, growing with Jesus in new ways. The cost this year is $169 and you can register online at www.mosaic.org/terranova and you will also have an opportunity to sign up after Sunday services very soon. Please reserve your spot now and invite your friends to come along, this is a great opportunity to get connected and re-connected to Mosaic!

Gallery Event

On August 12th, from 5-12PM there will be a dinner/gallery event at Koda Sushi in Hollywood, CA to raise funds to create an orphanage in Zambia. Zambia is the number one place in the world with kids afflicted by disease, living on the streets, and who have no family structure to help (no aunts, uncles, moms, dads). Sixty acres of land has been purchased to create a space for the kids to live, learn, and remain healthy. One complex has been built and several more are needed. The money raised from the event will directly go to pay for the mud, bricks, and labor to make this happen.

The idea of the event is for the people to connect with the food through the chef, art through the artist, which ultimately leads to a connection between the guest and the cause. I have never seen an event quite like this with 6 courses of food, on-site artist, a full cafe, and everything being donated. Everyone’s input and creativity are welcome to make this an overall experience, not just a dinner party.

If you are interested in being a part of this team, please contact Tammy Borrero at tammy@mosaic.org or call (909) 553-9800.
